BALMING JAM GLOSS JG07 Fig Jam

A thick, gel-like gloss with an anhydrous oil and wax base — esters and hydrogenated polyisobutene carry the shine, dextrin palmitate and microcrystalline wax give the jam-like body. It glides on smoothly, settles into a high-gloss film and wears without the heavy tack of a traditional gloss. Coconut oil and glycerin keep lips feeling conditioned, and bisabolol is included for comfort. A deep rose-brown fig tone from a yellow lake, two reds, a red iron oxide and titanium dioxide.

Apply directly from the applicator to clean, dry lips, starting at the centre and working outwards. Build a second layer for a deeper, wetter-looking finish, or press a single layer over a lip tint as a topcoat. Suits anyone looking for a high-shine, comfortable gloss; the formula contains fragrance, so patch test first if your lips are easily reactive.

Diisostearyl malate and the bis-behenyl dimer ester build the glassy film and hold the colour evenly. Hydrogenated polyisobutene adds the syrupy pull that gives the line its jam character. Coconut (Cocos nucifera) oil and glycerin condition, microcrystalline wax and dextrin palmitate set the thick texture, and bisabolol is there for comfort on the lips. A yellow lake appears at position 14 on this shade, ahead of the fragrance and water — a placement specific to JG07.
